Description

Metal-Tek® Insulation Putty is a non-setting insulation sealing compound. Comes in 1kg pack.

Application:

Used for packing out electrical and cable boxes to prevent the ingress of moisture, sealing around cable runs, blocking holes and making gaskets for extremely uneven faces. It can also seal cable holes through walls, metal and most substrates.

Humidity & Heat Resistance: ≥120h, no thermal cracking & powdering should appear (5.3.1)–Pass
Thawing Cycle Resistance: ≥15 times, no thermal cracking & powdering should appear (5.3.1)–Pass
Fire Integrity: ≥3.00h, cotton pad on the fire-resistant surface of test piece is not ignited and no continuous flame for 10s or more (5.2.2)–Pass
Fire Resistance & Heat Insulation:
