Insulation & Protection Mattress Fabrication

Aste® offers custom 100% Asbestos-Free Insulation and Protective Mattresses that can withstand extreme temperatures of up to 1260°C. Tailored to effectively meet your insulation needs, these mattresses are easy to disassemble for maintenance and inspection work, thanks to the secure fit provided by stainless steel hooks and steel wires.

We can cater according to various shapes, sizes and thickness, ensuring a perfect fit everytime.

An excellent solution for the maritime industries, this lightweight insulation is ideal for pipes, valves, exhausts, and scrubbers.

Exterior Type 1: Fiberglass Cloth HT800

Constructed from high-temperature resistant fiberglass, this material can endure temperatures of up to 550°C. It is utilized in insulation and protection mattresses surrounding high-temperature pipes in industrial facilities, effectively preventing heat loss and safeguarding personnel from burns.

Exterior Type 2: Aluminium Coated Fiberglass Cloth HT800

Made from high-temperature resistant fiberglass with aluminum lamination on one side, it is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 550°C. It is utilized in insulation and protection mattresses for steam pipes, with the aluminum side reflecting heat back into the system to enhance energy efficiency and prevent heat loss.

Best for applications needing both insulation and heat reflection.

Exterior Type 3: Silicone Coated Fiberglass Cloth

Made from high-temperature resistant fiberglass with silicone coating on both sides, withstands up to 260°C (silicone) and 550°C (fiberglass). Silicone-coated insulation lagging is ideal for insulating exhausts, engines, and HVAC ducts, it offers excellent heat resistance, durability, moisture/oil resistance, and protection in harsh environments.

Best for applications needing both heat and chemical/oil resistance.

Interior: Ceramic Wool Insert

Our insulation and protection mattresses have a ceramic wool insert of heat resistance up to 1260°C, it not only enhances the structural integrity of the mattresses but also contributes greatly to their thermal insulation properties.

Available in various thickness of 6mm to 50mm.

Hook-On Attachment

To create a hook-on mechanism, we have affxed stainless steel lacing hooks and washers to the mattresses. This design allows for quick installation and removal during maintenance or inspection tasks. Not only does it provide effective insulation for your equipment, but it also helps save time and reduce maintenance costs.
