Jointing Sheets
CVS® PTFE Sheet (Mechanical Grade)
CVS® PTFE Sheet is a mechanical grade gasket material manufractured from a combination of virgin PTFE and reprocessed PTFE.
It is a cost-effective alternative to virgin grade, particularly recommended for applications in industrial and process industries where high purity materials are not required.
Mechanical grade PTFE has similar chemical and tribological properties as virgin PTFE, but has better wear resistance and compressive strength than virgin PTFE.
Applications:
Ideal for a wide range of applications such as seals and gaskets, valve and fitting components, pump parts, manifolds, semi-conductor equipment, scientific equipment, medical equipment, chemical resistant tubing, and for bearing and bushings.
Product Features:
• High-temperature resistance
• Excellent chemical resistance
• Anti-aging, weathering resistance
• High electrical insulation
• Low coefficient of friction
• Cost-effective alternative to virgin grade
